Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Resumen del puesto:
El PCA es un trabajador no cualificado que puede poseer un certificado de formación ya sea formal (es decir, Asistente de Enfermería Certificado (CNA) o formación formal interna; competencia y evaluación por parte de un RN experimentado, licenciado por el estado de Carolina del Norte o un LPN experimentado, con al menos 3 años de experiencia). La formación y la supervisión estarán bajo la dirección de un RN. Habrá evaluaciones subsiguientes de supervisión de los servicios de PCA 30 días después de la iniciación de los servicios; luego, al menos cada 90 días a partir de entonces, una de las cuales el PCA debe estar presente en el hogar.
Funciones principales del puesto:
Atender a adultos mayores y/o discapacitados y niños. Bajo ninguna circunstancia un PCA realizará ningún tipo de servicio médico especializado.
