As part of the US Pharma finance partnering team, the finance manager role is critical to support business decision making, based on business and financial data analysis and insights.

The role will provide you the opportunity to build deep business understanding, and increase your analytical capability to progress your career, including some of the following

  • Understanding of the US market dynamics and customer segments of key brands
  • Preparing financial and data analytics to summarizing key insights
  • Modelling / what if scenario planning to support portfolio analysis, market understanding, brand portfolio analysis, and cost management
  • Experience working with diverse teams of finance partners and the business
  • Preparation of management presentations and summarizing key insights and analysis
  • Experience working in cross functional matrix teams
  • Potential to work internationally and with our global businesses

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial and data analytics
  • Completing financial analysis across business units
  • Owning and summarizing key insights for finance and business partners
  • Cost center analysis and reporting to key stakeholders
  • Completing adhoc analysis
  • Optimization of processes, automation of reports and data management
  • Support and ensure month end accruals and other close related items are completed on time
  • Understand overall market dynamics, relative market positioning of products against competitors, market access situation and future trends
  • Primary finance support for in-scope stakeholders and act as a key advisor/partner
  • Management presentations
  • Supporting finance partners to create management presentations, leveraging key insights and facts

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Economics or Business (or different degrees with Finance qualification)
  • Five or more years of finance analyst/manager experience
  • Two or more years of Data management experience focusing on building and rolling out automated reports based on PowerBI or related tool to support finance partners and stakeholders on decision making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIMA / CPA / MBA or Financially qualified
  • Excellent influencing and engagement. Ability to engage senior stakeholders and challenge based on expertise and personal credibility.
  • Understanding of vaccines & pharmaceutical Industry, and commercial finance experience
