As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Nashville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and professionalism. This is an armed and driving post, offering the opportunity to work with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public officials as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, prohibited items, and security-related concerns according to site protocol.
• Support order at the location by maintaining a visible armed presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related responses during emergencies, alarms, transports, and/or other operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
