General Maintenance Worker

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) provides a safe and secure working environment for our staff at the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, TX, while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release.** **What you'll do: You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities.** **Essential functions:** 1. Perform maintenance and repair of structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, ventilation, and air conditioning and drainage systems. 2. Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed, which may include standing or climbing on a ladder to perform such functions. 3. Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork. 4. Perform on-call support in emergency situations when equipment malfunctions. **Education and Experience Requirements:** + High school diploma or GED. + Technical training and general knowledge of repair and maintenance, and three (3) years of maintenance or related experience required. + Must successfully complete required preservice training. + A valid Texas driver license with an acceptable driving record is required, unless waived by management. **Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.** Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
