Logistics Specialist

Position Overview

• Ensures all activities comply with MACOM’s logistical requirements.
• Utilizes key measurement tracking techniques to ensure external activities are being performed successfully.
• Coordinate/oversee the execution of stock control, order picklists, and dispatch documentation as per order requirements.
• Works closely with external freight management providers regarding receipts/shipments as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees all stock room documentation and system transactional accuracy via MACOM’s ERP and/or WH management system. (both internally and/or externally via remote logistics providers).
• Support Monthly business/KPI’s review & ensure Warehouse KPI’s are meeting target/budget.
• Support continuous improvement of Warehouse and Logistics processes to deliver superior Customer Service levels and operational excellence.
• Provide logistics / stockroom support, ensuring targets are met.
• Uses existing procedures & training provided to create conduct various WH and/or ERP system adjustments as required.
• Liaises with external logistics companies and/or freight management reps to schedule receipt/dispatch bookings as required.
• Executes & ensures material accuracy and transactions are maintained to ensure full accurate alignment between physical available material compared to the inventory management/ERP system.
• Conducts various counts and/or system transactions to ensure materials and system quantities are in sync at all times.
• Applies general knowledge/supply techniques developed through MACOM's defined logistics processes & ERP system requirements.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of business procedures and process flows.
• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of overall MACOM logistics & supply chain theories.
• Uses existing logisitcs procedures to solve standard problems; analyses information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Liaise in a professional and efficient manner with Logistics Supervisor and/or Manager to resolve queries and provide regular updates.
• Communicate with internal warehouse personnel and external logistics personnel to ensure stock receipt/dispatch paperwork is compliant with procedures.
• Participate in and contribute to internal training as required.
• Identify strategic opportunities to optimize warehouse/Logistics and delivery productivity levels, costs improvement process etc.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain and/or warehouse management/freight activities.
• Good Experience working with ERP and/or WH systems required.
• Degree level standard and/or 2yrs of logistics/WH or supply chain experience (preferably degree and/or third level education in supply chain and/or business-related areas).
• Would require experience with supplier/WH and/or logistic partner management activities.

Salary Range
The Salary Range for this position is $40,193 – $62,280. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
