The Forklift Operator role involves a balanced focus on forklift operation and customer-facing counter sales tasks during the day shift. This position requires efficient handling of warehouse materials along with providing excellent service and general assistance to customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to move and stack materials safely and efficiently
- Handle loading and unloading of goods in the warehouse
- Fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
- Navigate the warehouse to manage inventory placement
- Provide customer service and respond to general inquiries
- Manage counter sales transactions and processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to learn new skills and procedures
- Experience with forklift operation and material handling
- Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service and counter sales experience
