Location: Working remotely in Raleigh-Durham, NC **About the Team** In this role, you will be part of the Systems Engineering and Solution Sales team, a group of 9 dedicated professionals located across the eastern United States. You will report to the Senior Manager, Systems Engineering, who is committed to empowering the team to achieve great results while supporting personal and professional growth. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setup, eliminating the need to work from an office. Instead, you will focus on building relationships by visiting customer and partner sites, allowing you to work autonomously within your designated territory. The role requires approximately 20% travel, predominantly within your territory and for event-based opportunities, enabling you to engage directly with our clients and partners while also balancing your remote work responsibilities. **Your Role** + Demonstrate and articulate the features and advantages of Nutanix solutions to influence customer purchasing decisions. + Size and configure Nutanix solutions tailored to customer needs. + Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, acting as their trusted resource. + Collaborate with sales counterparts to develop account plans and proposal creation, recommending solutions based on Nutanix offerings. + Gather and communicate customer feedback to enhance the Nutanix ecosystem. + Partner with the presales team to secure technical wins and streamline the sales process. + Manage project urgency, execute detailed action plans, and ensure flawless proof of concepts, including hardware installation. + Continuously develop personal and professional skills to contribute to team success and meet/exceed performance objectives. **What You Will Bring** + 5+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales role. + Hands-on knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Native, Kubernetes, Automation, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to suggest effective solutions. + Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. + Proven ability to manage multiple projects and execute detailed action plans. + Advanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertise. + Ability to execute a flawless proof of concept, including physical handling of equipment (up to 50 lb servers). **Work Arrangement** Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,200 and USD $ 247,800 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
