Job Summary

As a Gas Turbine Mechanic, you’ll troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform the visual inspection of Aero Equipment. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all tests with minimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.

Job Description

• Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and visually inspect Aero equipment.
• Assist in the repair and modification of non-conforming equipment, performing all tests with minimal instruction.
• Accurately use precision measuring equipment, including ID/OD/depth micrometers, calipers, and other tools.
• Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic tooling.
• Interpret and work independently from complex machining or assembly drawings.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team to follow detailed work routes for the inspection and repair of rotating equipment and units, often under time constraints.
• Provide technical support across various business functions while ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) policies and procedures.

Skills Required

• Mechanical background - cars or engineering have had transferable qualities. We would welcome turbine experience, but appreciate that this is a niche background.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Additional Requirements

• Work Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; or 6:00 am start time. Flexible

Pay Rate/Salary

• $21.00/hr.
