Overview
Physical Therapist travel assignment in a corrections setting based in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Start date: 04/13/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,316 to $2,347 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 08:00–16:30, Monday through Friday (5x8 days). This is a travel temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients to determine PT needs within the correctional setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional capacity.
- Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions and modalities as appropriate to patient goals.
- Reassess progress regularly, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes in the patient health record.
- Communicate and collaborate with nursing, medical, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate care and ensure safety and continuity.

Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience; corrections or acute rehab experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a correctional facility environment and adhere to facility policies and privacy requirements.
