Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Labor – Metal Fabrication team member to support our laser and press brake operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, quality standards, and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in producing quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Remove finished parts from metal sheets after laser cutting and/or stamping operations
Assist team members within the laser and press brake departments as needed
Perform dimensional inspections to verify parts meet specifications
Identify, detect, and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Follow all safety rules, quality standards, and company procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to safety and quality standards
Basic computer skills required
Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals (essential)
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings preferred
Forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Position is physically demanding and requires manual handling of metal parts
Must be able to safely perform tasks in an active manufacturing environment
