Scope of Position

Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the Structural Designer will play a key role in bringing innovative structures to life while supporting our internal teams and clients. Responsibilities

• Operate in alignment with our core company values
• Participate in engineering workload meetings as needed
• Travel occasionally to project or client sites
• Create precise construction and shop drawings using AutoCAD
• Help to generate preliminary designs for the sales team
• Perform structural calculations on product components
• Interpret and apply AASHTO, ACI, ASCE, and relevant building codes
• Review and verify drawings for technical accuracy and completeness
• Develop a deep understanding of our products and manufacturing processes

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering Technology (or similar field)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with construction and fabrication drawings
• Strong ability to interpret consultant construction drawings
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Team player mindset with the ability to collaborate and meet deadlines
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
