• Seeking a collaborative, student-centered, and highly organized Assistant Principal to support the academic and operational success of the school.

Position Summary:

• Support the Principals in the daily operation of the K–12 school programs.
• Promote a positive school culture focused on academic achievement, student growth, and character development.
• Provide instructional leadership and administrative support for faculty, students, and families.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily school operations and administrative functions.
• Assist with student discipline and behavior management.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school climate.
• Support teacher growth through coaching, feedback, and evaluation processes.
• Assist with curriculum implementation and instructional improvement initiatives.
• Monitor student attendance, academic performance, and intervention supports.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and support staff.
• Help coordinate testing, scheduling, supervision, and school events.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, state, and federal policies and regulations.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and school safety procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with students, staff, families, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.
• North Carolina Principal license or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Preferred:

• Previous school leadership or administrative experience.
• Experience in a K–12 or charter school environment.
• Knowledge of MTSS, instructional coaching, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience supporting student discipline and restorative practices.
• Ability to foster collaboration and school-wide continuous improvement.
