Hybrid E-Commerce Specialist
Bradshaw Supply is a family owned and operated small business that specializes in hydraulic hose assembly, hardware parts, fuel and piping. We are an essential business who cater to farmers, loggers, resellers, local and non-local customers and are trusted to have the knowledge and efficiency needed to assist them correctly and timely.
We are searching for a candidate who has knowledge/experience in website management, retail sales, hydraulic or auto shop repair, hardware parts and farming as this will be beneficial for assisting our customers. This hybrid position will primarily manage our E-Commerce but will occasionally have focuses in each of our departments and in multiple roles that include cashiering, hydraulic hose assembly, general sales, and coordinating customers as needed. This position has the potential for growth within our company.
Main Responsibilities
- Publish new product online
- Place phone orders
- Contact our manufacturers for product specs
- Respond to website messages and inquiry emails
- Pick orders
- Ship orders
- Resolve customer complaints or product issues.
- Verify backordered items received for ship out.
- Use knowledge from hydraulic experience/training to better assist online customers and market product specs.
- Greeting : Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Cashiering: Complete sales on the point-of-sale register and process cash, card and charge account payment methods
- Hydraulic Hose Assembly: Repairing damaged hoses; making hoses from scratch using only knowledge of farm machinery and specific parts; using heavy machinery to cut and crimp hoses. This job requires some knowledge of hydraulic fittings, adapters, hose threads, fitting threads and measurements. Upon hire, you will need to learn all aspects of this department.
- Customer Coordination/Assisting Customers: You will be the face of Bradshaw Supply by coordinating customers to the correct departments and associates, while also assisting non-specialty requests. This requires an outgoing, adaptable and personable attitude even during rush times.
- Bolts & Fittings Department: Experience preferred or must be willing to learn every aspect of bolts and fittings, as it is our most popular department.
- Fuel Pumps: Operate a fuel pump switch from inside the store and keep track of which customers are getting which fuels. We currently offer regular, premium, diesel and off-road fuel to locals and farms.
Assisting Customers
- Make sales by asking the right questions, resolving customer inquiries and learning the aspects of farm machinery and the products we sell.
- Be ready and willing to answer any questions a customer has and help them find a solution for what they are needing.
- Assist customers in finding products throughout the store.
- Work efficiently and timely with customers and during tasks or projects.
Other Daily Responsibilities
- Answer and resolve general phone calls and inquiries.
- Efficiently multitask.
- Keep your work areas organized and tidy.
- Work efficiently, diligently and focused in a very fast paced, self-start environment.
- Price and stock items.
- Note any out-of-stock items.
- Filling propane tanks.
- Unload freight trucks or load pipe if you have an active forklift certification.
- Any tasks, projects or other work that is expected, requested and required.
Qualifications/Requirements
Tech-savvy: Must be comfortable, experienced and technically proficient using computers, windows desktop, tablets, phones and computer programs.
Previous Experience: E-Commerce management, website sales, general sales, customer service, farm related parts.Familiarity: Agricultural/industrial parts such as bolts, fittings, general hardware, tools, plumbing.
Proficiency: Computers, windows desktop and using point of sale systems.
Ability : To be on your feet frequently, sitting frequently, regularly lifting up to 2lbs and occasionally lifting up to 60Ibs during your shift.
Skills: Strong c ommunication and ability to problem solve.
Knowledge: Basic hardware parts.
Willingness: Learn all aspects of each store department and its contents.
Ability: Be a self-starter employee that can adapt to fast paced clientele and time sensitive tasks.
Required: To learn how to operate a fuel pump system.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years experience with website sales or E-Commerce management. 1-2 years working in cashiering & sales with the same company.1-2 years experience with agricultural/industrial parts such as bolts, fittings, general hardware, tools, plumbing with the same company or farm. (i.e. ability to distinguish different types of bolts/fittings, experience working on a farm with machinery and tools).
1-3 years experience or education with hydraulic hose assembly, auto shop repair or equivalent.
