Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation of Goods: Safely load, transport, and deliver products to various locations, following the designated routes and schedules.
• Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections, checking fuel, oil, water, brakes, lights, and other safety equipment to ensure the truck/Trailer is in safe operating condition. Report any issues promptly.
• Load and Unload Freight: Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo to ensure it is safely secured, especially when transporting heavy or oversized items
• Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and, where required, delivery vehicles.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow all DOT regulations and company policies, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to vehicle operations and safety.
• Documentation and Reporting: Complete all required paperwork, including Bills of Lading, trip reports, inspection logs, and delivery receipts. Maintain accurate records of hours, miles driven, and fuel expenses.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and driving safety standards.
• Proficiency in using GPS, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and other routing tools.
• Ability to load/unload freight and safely handle heavy or oversized items.
• Good communication skills and professional attitude.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in commercial driving is a plus.

Licensing :

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

• Trucks will be provided by the company.
• Trucks are typically F350's or equivalent.

**Starting Salary: based on experience & can be discussed during the interview process.

** Must be willing to commute daily to/from Longview, NC.
