DevOps Developer

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Developer for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. Candidate must have strong expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud migration.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

DevOps Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab for reliable software delivery.

• Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, including service mesh implementation using Istio.

• Lead cloud migration efforts, moving Spring Boot microservices from on-premises to Azure, ensuring secure and scalable deployments.

• Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) by implementing vulnerability scanning tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and Prisma Cloud.

• Develop automation scripts in Python or Bash and manage configuration using tools like Ansible.

• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates, ensuring performance monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, and Kibana.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering and automation.

• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation using Jenkins and GitLab, along with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven experience in cloud migration and infrastructure management on Azure, including Terraform, Helm, and security best practices (RBAC, Key Vault).

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
