Shift Support (In Training)

Our Shift Supports are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of what makes Chick-fil-A great, our service and guest experience. A Shift Support’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Supports lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
Candidates have the opportunity to progress towards their area of strength and career interest while working in Operations. These can include Human Resources (Talent), Training, Inventory, Community Outreach/Marketing, Customer Experience, Food Safety, Facilities, and/or Hospitality.
Position Type:
- Full-time and Part-time
- Morning (5:30am-2pm) and Evening (2p-10pm)
- This position is available in both the front of house and back of house areas in the restaurant.

Shift Support Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Count drawers and finalize day (Front of House Only)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Monitor product quality to ensure that guests receive the best product through each and every transaction
- Ensure Operational Excellence in a Food Safe Environment
- Preserve a safe work environment by ensuring that all Team Members are informed of and respecting the Employee Health Policy
- Optimize guest experiences by ensuring that speed and accuracy are held in high regard without rushing guests
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior experience working in high-volume, fast-paced, guest-focused environment is not required but is preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Ability to effectively delegate and communicate tasks to team
- High level of ownership displayed in ensuring things are done the right way

- Self-directed and driven leader who demonstrates respect, honesty, and integrity

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Friday and Saturday availability is required
