Key Job Details – OR RN Locum Tenens Assignment

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 – Prime location for New York nursing jobs with access to historic sites, diverse dining, and scenic parks.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (locum tenens contract)
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 1, 2025
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2450 - $2510
• On Call: Required 4 times per month
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR System: Epic EMR experience required
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel nursing contract)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital or surgical center
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (electronic medical records) system
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation (4 times per month)
• Compliance with hospital dress code (navy blue scrubs)
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to provide high-quality clinical support
• Maintain a sterile surgical environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgery
• Accurately document patient care and surgical activities using Epic EMR
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation as required
