Job Description:
Cowboy Coatings is a high-end automotive detailing company based in Mooresville, NC, specializing in paint correction, ceramic coatings, and premium vehicle care. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Automotive Detailer to join our team and help deliver exceptional results for our clients.
This position is based in a temperature-controlled, luxury detailing shop, working on a variety of high-end and everyday vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Perform exterior and interior detailing services.
- Execute paint correction services using machine polishers.
- Apply ceramic coatings and other protective products.
- Wash, prep, and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
- Inspect vehicles before and after service for quality control.
- Recommend additional services (upsells) when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive detailing required.
- Must have buffing/polishing experience.
- Familiarity with paint correction and detailing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and company processes.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Willing to work a full 40-hour work week.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25–$30 per hour (based on experience).
- 100% of tips.
- 50% commission on all upsells.
- Consistent, full-time hours.
- Work in a clean, temperature-controlled luxury shop.
