Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Food Preparation & Quality: Ensure consistent food quality, proper food handling and storage, and adherence to recipes and plating standards.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Menu Development: Contribute to menu planning and special offers.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook specific menu items at their assigned station, following recipes and procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure dishes are cooked to proper standards, maintaining consistent taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Station Management: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, restocking supplies as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.
- Health & Safety: Follow food safety regulations and procedures.
