CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina healthcare job)
• Facility Type: Hospital – CT Imaging Department
• Position Type: Locum Tenens (Travel CT Technologist Contract)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 8, 2025
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800–$1840
• Additional: Potential weekend shifts, rotating shifts, and 12 hours/month on-call

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ARRT (R) certification required
• Proficient in all CT imaging procedures, including diagnostic and invasive CT scans
• Experience with emergency department (ED) trauma and stroke imaging
• Preferred: Experience with GE CT equipment, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Compliance with department dress code (black scrubs)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures: neuro, musculoskeletal, body, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric scans
• Operate GE Optima, GE EVO, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors
• Utilize Cerner Rad Net and Phillips PACS for imaging documentation and workflow
• Collaborate with radiology technologists, assistants, and supervisors to deliver high-quality patient care
• Respond promptly to trauma and stroke imaging needs in the Emergency Department
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed
