In this position, you’ll move from line to line diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and partnering with engineers to improve equipment reliability. Your day blends troubleshooting, precision assembly, and thoughtful documentation to ensure uptime and safety.

A day in the life

• Begin with proactive inspections and preventive maintenance across production equipment and support systems.
• Assemble and repair electrical and electronic systems and prototypes with hand tools and precise measuring instruments.
• Work side-by-side with engineers to identify root causes, run tests, and solve complex design or equipment problems.
• Analyze test data to resolve design-related issues and recommend improvements.
• Create or revise diagrams and draft engineering specifications for experimental electronics.
• Install, repair, modify, and upgrade industrial control systems, including PLC-based controls.
• Support the design, evaluation, and repair of electrical equipment and components.
• Capture accurate, timely documentation for service, maintenance, and process changes.
• Model Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures in every task.
• Assist with additional duties as needed to keep production moving.

What you bring

• 2–5 years in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing.
• Confidence working under minimal supervision and tackling complex issues.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and comprehensive knowledge of maintenance practices.
• Hands-on aptitude with manufacturing support, hand tools, and process documentation.
• Intermediate proficiency in equipment maintenance, monitoring, and repair.
• Team-first mindset; can interpret work instructions accurately.
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
