Registered Nurse - Pediatric/Adolescent

Adelphi is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to provide professional nursing services in a facility in Rockingham County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will care for adolescents in a structured environment and must be comfortable working independently with direct care staff during part of the shift. Job Quick Facts: • Reference #: BD-682-03 • Profession: Nursing • Specialty: Adolescent/Pediatric/Correctional Nursing • Location: Reidsville, Rockingham County, North Carolina • Facility Type: Juvenile Facility • Patient Population: Adolescents • Job Type: 13-week contract with possibility to renew • Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:30 am – 8:00 pm • Start Date: ASAP • Compensation: $45–$50/hr Requirements: • Active North Carolina RN license • Current BLS certification • Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing • Ability to work independently as the only nurse on-site during part of the shift • Competence with EHR systems and telehealth equipment • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Availability to complete facility-based orientation at the start of the assignment Responsibilities: • Provide nursing care within the full scope of RN practice for adolescents • Administer medications and treatments safely and in compliance with regulations • Monitor and document patient health status • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records • Collaborate with direct care staff to ensure continuity of care • Utilize telehealth equipment and participate in virtual consultations • Support health, safety, and wellness in a secure environment • Complete facility orientation and ongoing required training
