CNC OPERATOR

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required Responsibilities 1. Machine Setup & Operation
- Mills & Lathes: Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (specifically Hardinge , Mazak, or similar) to perform turning, drilling, milling, and threading.
- Press Brakes: Set up and operate CNC press brakes (e.g., Amada, Trumpf) to bend, form, or punch sheet metal and steel plate.
- Tooling Management: Install and adjust three- and four-jaw chucks, select proper die clearances for press brakes, and perform tool touch-offs.
- Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials safely, ensuring correct gauge and material type (stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
- Precision Inspection: Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and protractors to verify that parts meet exact customer specifications.
- Process Monitoring: Listen to machine operations to detect dull tools or malfunctions and perform "first-piece" inspections.
- Maintenance: Perform daily preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking hydraulic oil levels.
