Marketing & Outreach Coordinator

The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator holds the primary responsibility for cultivating and maintaining community and external relations. This position collaborates with the CEO, Resource Development team, the Admissions Director, program staff, and the chair and vice chair of the Board of Directors.

Location:

• Ability to work at both Mill Spring and Asheville campuses
• Requires ability to travel

Schedule:

• Typical Schedule: 8-5 pm Monday – Friday
• Regular travel and engagements with evening and weekend hours

Pay:

• Starting at $75,000 and increases based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Communicates and collaborates with staff, board of directors, supporters, donors, residents, alumni, families, and referral sources regarding program offerings and admission process
• Leads the development and execution of marketing strategies and community marketing efforts
• Manages public relations and promotes CooperRiis brand awareness
• Oversees website development, updates content, reviews SEO and web analytics, manages social media platforms
• Plans and executes special outreach events to cultivate and strengthen relationships
• Researches, plans, and attends conference exhibition opportunities
• Coordinates site visits and supports logistics for tours on campus
• Utilizes Salesforce to track stakeholder contact and collect referral source data
• Collaborates with Admissions and clinical teams with relationship management, correspondence tracking, and connection with referrals
• Supports the Development Director with communication, events, and programing related to alumni engagement
• Manages the marketing budget
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 5 years in a marketing and/or outreach experience for non-profit organization
• Preferred experience in mental health or substance use services
• Proficiency in Salesforce platform
• Experience building and leading marketing strategies
