Position: Board-Certified Cardiologist
We’re actively interviewing for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to help expand our cardiovascular services and support our growing patient base in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based approaches.
Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, vascular studies, and stress tests (exercise, nuclear, and stress echocardiograms).
Collaborate with primary care providers on cardiovascular disease management.
Participate in limited rotating after-hours phone coverage for urgent patient concerns.
Maintain current knowledge of advancements in cardiovascular medicine.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) in North Carolina .
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship .
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (ABIM).
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care.
Proficiency with EMR systems ( Athenahealth experience preferred ).
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship experience in cardiology.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Compassionate communicator with a patient-first mindset.
