Position: Medical Assistant (Front Office Experience Preferred)
Location: Medi-Weightloss – Winston-Salem & Summerfield, NC

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

Obtain patient vitals, perform EKGs, and phlebotomy

Administer intramuscular injections

Prepare laboratory requisitions and retrieve lab results

Assist providers with patient evaluations and care

Document patient progress accurately in the EMR

Conduct patient follow-up calls to discuss progress and answer questions

Perform other clinical support tasks as needed

Administrative Duties:

Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system

Greet patients and manage check-ins with professionalism

Verify insurance coverage and conduct benefits verifications (VOB)

Scan and upload documents into patient records

Maintain inventory of clinical and office supplies

Assist with training new staff as needed

Support clinic marketing and patient retention efforts

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)

Front office experience, including insurance and benefits verification

Experience with phlebotomy and EKGs

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Background in exercise or fitness is a plus
