Medical Receptionist | Outpatient | Full-time | 660 Merrimon Ave Ste C Asheville, NC 28804
Physio Physical Therapy & Wellness, an H2 Health company , is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our outpatient therapy clinic in Asheville, NC. This role supports daily front office operations and helps ensure a positive, efficient experience for every patient.
This position is responsible for patient scheduling, front desk operations, insurance verification, and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
Requirements
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations as needed
- Collect co-pays and maintain accurate patient records
- Enter and update information in EMR systems
- Support daily clinic operations and coordinate with clinical staff
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or front desk role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with insurance verification and scheduling preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills required
- Full-time position
- On-site in Beckley, WV
- Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting
