Part-Time Teacher Assistant (Center-Wide)

Jordan Child & Family Enrichment Center – Raleigh, NC

Pay: $15–$17 per hour
Schedule: Afternoon position | Must be available until 5:30 PM

Jordan Child & Family Enrichment Center is seeking a Part-Time Teacher Assistant to support classrooms across our center during afternoon hours. This is a center-wide role , assisting teachers in multiple classrooms and helping maintain a safe, engaging environment for young children.

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and daily routines

• Support children’s learning through developmentally appropriate practices

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment

• Follow all NC childcare regulations and center policies

• Work collaboratively with staff and supervisors

• Participate in required training and professional development

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

• Early Childhood credentials preferred

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience working with young children

Requirements

• Must pass background checks and fingerprinting

• Must meet NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) requirements
