Medication Aide – Adult Care Home (MAACH)

ARC Group has an immediate opening for a Medication Aide (MAACH) to join a caring adult care home in West Jefferson, NC . This role offers an opportunity to provide compassionate, resident-centered care while ensuring safe and accurate medication administration in a supportive environment.

Location: West Jefferson, NC
[Full-time / Part-time / PRN]
Work Authorization: Permanent US Work Authorization Required
No C2C or third-party candidates

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications per physician orders and facility policy.
• Maintain Medication Administration Records (MARs) and verify orders.
• Monitor and report resident conditions and side effects.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Support infection control, safety, and confidentiality practices.
• Attend training, in-service, and team meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medication Aide (MAACH) in good standing with the state.
• Prior experience in adult care, assisted living, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and dedicated to quality resident care.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/move up to 50 lbs, assist with mobility, stand/walk for long periods.
