Senior Project Architect / Project Manager – Industrial & Healthcare Projects

Salary Range: $105,000 – $137,500 annually (DOE)
Total Compensation Package: $120,000 – $150,000+ (including benefits and retirement)

About the Role

We are seeking a North Carolina Licensed Architect (NCARB certification preferred) with 10+ years of professional experience to join our Charlotte office as a Senior Project Architect/Project Manager . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Industrial project types and exposure to Healthcare design , with the ability to independently lead projects, manage client relationships, and guide small teams through all phases of design and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee architectural projects from concept through construction administration.

  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants to ensure design excellence and timely delivery.

  • Mentor and manage junior architects and designers, fostering professional growth.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations .

  • Develop and review design and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp .

  • Manage client relationships with clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Registered Architect in North Carolina (required); NCARB certification preferred .

  • Experience: 10+ years of architectural practice, with significant industrial project expertise and some exposure to healthcare design .

  • Technical Proficiency: Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp (required).

  • Knowledge: Building codes, zoning laws, construction processes.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead projects, manage small teams, and oversee projects independently.
