We’re looking for a dynamic, design-driven Interior Designer to join our growing team and help shape hospitality experiences across the country. At Fortuna, we don’t just design restaurants and coffee shops, we create environments that tell stories, build brands, and bring people together. From neighborhood cafés to full-scale dining concepts, our work lives at the intersection of design, culture, and experience.

What You Bring

• A degree in Interior Design (or a related field) and a strong design foundation
• Fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• A sharp eye for materials, finishes, color, and understanding of FF&E specifications
• The ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals and presentations
• Confidence managing multiple projects or diving deep with a single client across phases
• Solid understanding of commercial design standards, ADA compliance, and building codes
• Strong organization, time management, and follow-through (project execution/deliverables)
• Adaptability, curiosity, and a solutions-first mindset
• A collaborative spirit and the drive to grow within a tight-knit team

What You’ll Do

• Lead client conversations and help guide projects from concept to completion
• Shape design narratives, translating brand, vision, and experience into space
• Develop full design build packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, fabricators and vendors
• Build presentations, mood boards, and concepts that communicate with impact
• Contribute to space planning, furniture selection, and material specifications
• Draft equipment and design finish plans for coffee shops and restaurants (we’ll teach you what you don’t know)
• Support design continuity from early initial conceptual design through through final construction installation phases
• Review drawings and documents to ensure everything aligns for permitting
