Warehouse / Logistics Manager

TAT Technologies is looking for a qualified Warehouse / Logistics Manager. The Warehouse / Logistics Manager will provide leadership, ensure execution and accept ownership for all warehouse and logistics process, procedures and team members. This position will ensure best in class processes, execution, control and continuous improvement for all warehouse and logistic functions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within a Lean Manufacturing Environment.
• Leads and facilitates cross functional teams to create process improvements
• Performs Root Cause analysis for any Corrective Action issued to Warehouse/Shipping team
• Oversee warehouse, receiving, distribution, and logistics operations.
• Proactive problem resolution and customer interface.
• Implement accurate SOPs for receiving, shipping, packing, stocking, picking, issuance, cycle counts, warehouses, Repair Orders, and associated documentation as required per FAA & AS9110 standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of >99%.
• Coordinate with all other areas of the business to ensure proper support from the warehouse and logistics teams.
• Ensure all items are packed, shipped and delivered on cost, on time and without defects.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to optimize incoming and outgoing logistics and costs.
• Develop, implement, and sustain KPIs to drive performance in for all warehouse processes.
• Maintain and promote a highly organized space in all areas of responsibility.
• Create a weekly KPI reporting deck to be provided to the Supply Chain Director.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, ISO, EASA, and SOX regulations.
• Implement and maintain shelf-life program for all stock items.
• Oversee and comply with cycle count program.
• Ensure receiving and stocking parts into inventory from vendors is performed in a timely manner,
• Ensure a safe environment and efficient working team at all times

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree. Recommended five or more years of experience with warehouse & logistics.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 145 and warehouse operational requirements
• Management of ERP (Quantum) and other software as needed.
• Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Patience and tolerance for interruptions and reprioritization.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Outstanding people and leadership skills are required.
• Excellent comprehension and compliance of FAA requirements and procedures around receiving, housing, rotating, protecting, segregating and distributing airworthy and non-airworthy parts.
• Advanced knowledge of Inventory and Inventory controls.
• Export/Import Certificate (EIC), and advanced knowledge of export compliance matters preferred
• Advanced excel knowledge preferred
• Availability to work extended hours
