We are seeking an experienced Commercial Strategy & Launch Consultant to serve in a launch office consultant role for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Princeton, NJ area. This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong strategic thinking, execution excellence, and the ability to work onsite three days per week as a core member of the client’s launch team.
As a Commercial Strategy & Launch Consultant, you will partner directly with clients to support launch planning and execution activities across a product lifecycle. You will contribute to strategy development, project planning, insights generation, and cross-functional coordination while building trusted client relationships.
Our projects vary in scope, duration, therapeutic area, and expertise required. Regardless of your background or career stage, you will be challenged to broaden your skill set in disease area knowledge, pharmaceutical marketing, project management, communication, and collaboration.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a launch office consultant embedded with a client launch team, working onsite three days per week
Maintain a high level of client engagement to develop strategic presentations, project plans, and executive-ready updates
Develop client deliverables such as:
Business cases
Therapeutic area and competitive landscapes
Commercial launch strategies and launch plans
Strategic recommendation decks and tactical plans
Educational and training resources
Lead and support project management activities, including:
Creation and maintenance of project plans and timelines
Meeting coordination and logistics
Status report development and tracking
Client meeting planning, facilitation, and note capture
Conduct data analysis to support decision-making, including:
Forecast development
Sample planning and allocation analysis
Market research synthesis and insight generation
Conduct and support customer interviews (HCPs, patients, payers) and develop summary reports and recommendations
Identify new business opportunities and areas for expanded client support
Build increasing depth of therapeutic area expertise and functional knowledge in pharmaceutical commercialization and marketing
Contribute to Acumetis’ collaborative and high-performance culture while supporting multiple client initiatives as needed
Required Skills & Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA or advanced degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field highly preferred
Minimum of 3 years of consulting experience; pharmaceutical launch experience strongly preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to clients
Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and extremely well organized
Ability to manage one or more projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Desire to grow within a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and client-focused organization
Ability and willingness to work onsite at a client location in the Princeton, NJ area three days per week
