Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Huntersville, NC
Pay: Based on experience

Are you a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic ready to take the lead in keeping equipment and operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Charlotte. In this role, you’ll use your mechanical and electrical expertise to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production, fabrication, and facility equipment — helping keep our plant running at top performance.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair equipment and systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment

• Diagnose root causes of equipment failures and recommend solutions

• Work with contractors and vendors on projects and sourcing parts

• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics

• Support automation and PLC troubleshooting when needed

• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization in the work area

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 5+ years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform basic electrical troubleshooting

• Hands-on experience with automation, relay logic, and PLCs is a plus

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision

• Must be available for overtime and occasional off-shift support

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, and crawling

• Work around machinery, electrical systems, and moderate noise levels

• May require work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors in various conditions

• Safety gear provided (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, gloves, etc.)

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,500.00 per year
