MICU RN Job Details – Albany, NY

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (8/18/2025 – 10/8/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2470 - $2540
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR System: Epic

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (New York RN license preferred for Albany nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital or 2 years of total RN experience (travel nurse or permanent)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Competency test must be completed within 48 hours of submission
• Ability to wear navy blue scrubs

MICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the MICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced clinical nursing procedures
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
• Float to other hospital units as required by facility needs
