Be a part of something remarkable as a part-time seasonal Lead Store Associate at Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center in Asheville, NC. Season runs from March to November.

America's National Parks is a nonprofit partner of the National Park Service (NPS), operating stores at over 175 national park sites. But we're more than a retailer. Essential Job Functions:

• Operate the cash register by processing appropriate tenders and maintaining accurate cash register records
• Restock the sales floor while following visual merchandising guidelines and help create visual displays. This includes lifting boxes weighing up to 15 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet and may require standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting, and reaching
• Assist visitors with product selection and offer complementary products
• Navigate complex topics with sensitivity and respect
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and maintain prompt and regular attendance
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
• May open and close the store independently
