Ideal candidates will have three to five years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in construction and engineering. A self-starter and driven leader who possesses strong communication skills and a desire to see all customer opportunities reach their full potential will excel in this role. The Business Development will play a key role in expanding our market presence and establishing new business relationships.

JOB SUMMARY: Qualifies and develops sales prospects and clients for the industrial organization. Identifies key clients and actively markets to prospects in an organized and professional manner. The business development provides management, estimating, and operations personnel accurate descriptions of the client’s and project’s specific needs in order to maximize value for both parties. He/she performs duties with a high level of quality, professionalism, and ethics.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the development of sales strategies and marketing plans that address clients’ business needs
  • Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied
  • Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
  • Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
  • Set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them
