Job Overview

A laminator is a machine that takes large rolls of plastic film and combines them with other rolls of packaging film. It’s a lot like the lamination you may have seen in other places, but on an industrial scale and with food-grade materials. Every laminator requires an operator and a helper to work efficiently. The operator makes adjustments to the machine to ensure proper specifications are met and the helper supports that work by completing the duties below:

Duties

• Loading rolls of raw material and unloading rolls of laminated materials.
• Ensuring proper techniques and procedures are followed.
• Maintaining the highest levels of quality while running the laminator at optimal speeds.
• Verification of the materials that are being laminated in accordance with the work order.

Required Skills

• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to take measurements in standard and metric.
• The ability to learn new skills and apply them across a range of applications.
• The ability to stand for an entire work shift (excluding breaks).
• Positive attitude with a mentality for teamwork and a focus on quality.

Hours

• 7PM-7AM (12-Hour rotating shifts, 3 days/4days a week ) plus $2.00 shift differential pay
