Housekeeping Room Attendant
General Overview
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests efficiently and providing service with a smile! You will be core in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service, with a Southern Flare!
Qualifications
· You are 16 yrs or older (required).
· Job requires full mobility and ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds (Required).
· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
· Ideal candidate is energetic, able to multi-task and maintain excellent levels of cleanliness in both the guest rooms and public areas.
· Must have reliable transportation (Required)

Compensation
· Meet Full Availability, training, and meeting room times with previous housekeeping experience (39 min or less / room) - $15.00/h r.
· Meet Full Availability and Training with previous housekeeping experience - $14.00hr.
· Available to Work Four Days a week, including Sat, Sun, & Federal Holidays - $13.50.00/hr.
· Less than 4 Days a week, no limitations - $13.00/hr.
o To achieve and maintain the above benchmarks to the highest level, employees must be punctual for work, always be in full uniform including name badge, minimal call out of work, willing to help when needed, including in laundry, if necessary, maintain a great positive “I can” attitude, willing to go above and beyond for our guests delivering Southern Hospitality the Marriott way.

Requirements:
- Must be dependable, honest, and respectful and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and Federal holidays
- Must have reliable transportation

Work Environment and Scheduling
· Days start around 8:30 a.m., and the goal is to be done before 3 p.m. each day, weekend hours are longer, but we aim for 4-5pm!
· Perfect job for those who have class or family obligations in the evening.
· Weekends and holidays required for everyone when we are sold out.
· Can make additional requests off after 6mo
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Clean guest rooms as assigned, including but not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
· Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed
· Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
· Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
· Dispose of trash and recyclables
· Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
· Perform guest stayover service as needed

We opened in October 2003 as a 107-rooms independently own Marriott Family Brand Hotel. Since then, we have won various awards for excellence in the US! Our ownership and management company are based here in NC.
Apply in person at the hotel seven days a week, 7 am to 5 pm
