The Schedule: Night Shift Focus
- Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3 x 12-hour shifts).
- Guarantees: 36 hours per week.
- EMR: Cerner system.
Clinical Scope: Acute Oncology Support
Work within a 24-bed unit that handles a variety of bedside procedures and specialized assessments:
- Procedures: Assist with and monitor patients undergoing Thoracentesis, Echocardiograms, and occasional pelvic exams.
- Patient Population: Management of solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and the side effects of intensive therapies.
- Supportive Care: Expertise in pain management, palliative care, and psychological support for patients and families.
What You Bring to the Unit :
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current Oncology experience.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA) is required. ONS is preferred but not required.
