Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Dispatch Operations CRE in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. Whether you're looking to supplement your income or take the first step toward a full-time role, this position offers unmatched access to hands-on experience and growth opportunities. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in monitoring and managing security-related communications and activities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating incident response, tracking patrols, and supporting field teams to help to deter security-related incidents. You'll interact frequently with tenants, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor and coordinate communications related to incidents and operational activities at the location.
- Dispatch appropriate personnel to various locations within the property as required.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
- Assist with access control and manage entry and exit procedures for authorized individuals at the location.
- Work collaboratively with on-site teams to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or respond to emergencies.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff members to provide assistance and information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
