???? Compensation: $175,000 - $250,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a prestigious law firm partnered with W3Global , is seeking an accomplished Senior Intellectual Property (Patent) Transactional Attorney to join their Intellectual Property Practice Group .

This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives on complex IP transactions and has a passion for driving innovation through strategic deal-making. You'll take the lead on patent acquisitions, licensing, portfolio management, and IP-related corporate structuring , while working with high-profile clients across industries.

We're open to Partner-level or Senior Attorney candidates who bring both technical mastery and business acumen to the table - and who are ready to lead impactful, high-value IP transactions.

Key Focus Areas:

• Patent Acquisitions, Sales & Licensing - Manage and negotiate major transactions.

• Portfolio Management - Advise clients on strategic IP asset development and valuation.

• Patent Litigation Funding & Structuring - Guide clients through complex financial IP structures.

• Corporate & IP Strategy Integration - Collaborate with corporate teams to align IP assets with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar (preferred)

• Extensive experience in IP transactional work - particularly in patent licensing, acquisitions, and portfolio management

• Strong leadership presence and ability to manage high-stakes deals independently
