ICU RN Job Details – Albany, NY

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 – A dynamic city with rich history, scenic parks, and access to the Hudson River Valley. Ideal for nurses seeking New York healthcare jobs.
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Trauma, Surgical, Neurological
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: October 29, 2025
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2520 - $2580
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• EMR: Epic (electronic medical records)

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York RN license preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience with trauma, surgical, and neurological patients
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Successful completion of competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
• Administer medications and advanced life support interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
