  • Foundational knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to contribute to the data layer of applications.
  • Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven, and familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to support modern development practices.
  • Business acumen with desired experience in a regulated environment, such as financial services, to understand and adhere to industry-specific requirements.
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency, along with an interest in responsible AI practices including risk management and ethical use.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance web applications by collaborating across UI, services, and database layers within a service-oriented architecture.

  • Design, develop, and test new front-end and back-end features using Angular, Java, and related frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, ensuring high-quality and robust code.
  • Collaborate with Lead Engineers and internal users to define system requirements, contribute to technical design discussions, and align development with established architectural direction.
  • Develop and maintain database components using SQL and NoSQL technologies, and integrate services within a multi-tiered, service-oriented architecture.
  • Utilize build and dependency management tools to support efficient development, integration, and deployment processes.
