Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 163759

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, assisting with financial statement preparation, and delivering accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial results and investigate variances to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare management reporting packages and supporting schedules. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner. Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation. Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies and procedures. Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3 years of accounting experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
