Regional Sales Manager (SC, AL, GA, FL)
Purpose:
Our organization is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead all business activities across the West Region while driving the development of strong, capable talent. In this role, the RSM will be responsible for executing JTI USA’s sales strategies and programs, ensuring the achievement of sales volume, distribution, and market expansion goals. This position plays a key role in supporting our mission to drive sustainable and profitable business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver monthly and annual sales targets through effective execution of sales and marketing programs, while leading, coaching, and developing the regional sales team
- Contribute to the development and implementation of trade plans aligned with corporate objectives
- Partner closely with Key Account Management to identify profitable opportunities and build “Top-to-Top” relationships with key volume accounts
- Lead the regional sales team by setting clear performance metrics and providing ongoing feedback through the company’s performance management system
- Keep senior management informed of key business issues, program performance, competitive activity, and market trends to maximize opportunities and share best practices
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with sales teams to gather and update competitive insights and market intelligence
- Lead all aspects of people management, including recruitment, motivation, and professional development of direct and indirect reports
- Collaborate with and support the Sales Director in delivering sales growth and expanding into new and existing markets to capture business development opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; MBA preferred
- 8–12 years of sales experience within a multinational FMCG organization
- Tobacco industry experience is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities
- Self-starter with a proven strong work ethic
