Role Snapshot: Health & Safety Specialist I

Be a key contributor to our environmental, health, safety, and energy (EHS&E) efforts, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and strengthening our culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Track HS&E KPIs and drive performance improvements through analysis and action plans.
• Support creation and upkeep of policies and compliance programs aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time.
• Provide technical guidance on safe systems of work; oversee routine EHS tasks; contribute to team development.
• Participate in audits and inspections; help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional safety and energy initiatives that align with business objectives.
• Deliver internal and external communications consistent with ISO management system requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Short-cycle tertiary education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in EHS or related discipline.
• Strong skills in compliance management, risk assessment, and data analysis.
• Self-starter who can operate independently and provide technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 50001 programs.
• Excellent communicator with proven cross-functional influence.
• Exposure to internal and external audit practices.
• Ability to lead or support safety initiatives across departments.

Bonus Skills
