Role Snapshot: Health & Safety Specialist I
Be a key contributor to our environmental, health, safety, and energy (EHS&E) efforts, ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and strengthening our culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Track HS&E KPIs and drive performance improvements through analysis and action plans.
 - Support creation and upkeep of policies and compliance programs aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.
 - Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time.
 - Provide technical guidance on safe systems of work; oversee routine EHS tasks; contribute to team development.
 - Participate in audits and inspections; help implement corrective and preventive actions.
 - Coordinate cross-functional safety and energy initiatives that align with business objectives.
 - Deliver internal and external communications consistent with ISO management system requirements.
 
Required Qualifications
- Short-cycle tertiary education or equivalent.
 - Minimum 3 years in EHS or related discipline.
 - Strong skills in compliance management, risk assessment, and data analysis.
 - Self-starter who can operate independently and provide technical guidance.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 50001 programs.
 - Excellent communicator with proven cross-functional influence.
 - Exposure to internal and external audit practices.
 - Ability to lead or support safety initiatives across departments.
