4 Month Military Move Captain
Compensation Note: Compensation represents earning potential over approximately four months, not a full year.
Peak Season Military Move Captain (May–August Assignment)
As this role requires regular entry onto military installations, candidates must meet federal access standards. Firearms, drugs, and other prohibited items are strictly forbidden on base. Individuals with a criminal background or outstanding warrants are not eligible for base access and therefore cannot be considered for this position.
Position Overview
The Peak Season Military Move Captain plays a critical leadership role during the high‑volume May–August military relocation cycle. This position requires extensive travel, strong operational discipline, and the ability to represent our brand with professionalism and integrity. Individuals must adhere to strict timelines, complete and manage all required paperwork and follow all military-mandated procedures.
Successful candidates can manage an intensive schedule, communicate effectively with multiple parties, demonstrate consistent professionalism and adherence to safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead military household moves while upholding company standards and customer expectations.
- Complete all required paperwork, work orders, and job documentation with absolute accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate a 26‑foot non‑CDL box truck safely and confidently.
- Collaborate effectively with crews, dispatch, quality teams, and support staff.
- Represent the company brand with professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service.
- Follow all compliance, safety, and operational procedures as provided in training.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional driving ability with a pristine motor vehicle record; must be fully comfortable operating a 26‑foot box truck.
- Ability to pass a seven‑year criminal background check.
- Demonstrated history of self‑management , strong personal accountability, and consistent accomplishment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all DOT‑required credentials , including a valid medical certificate and compliance with all applicable federal transportation regulations.
- Proven experience managing important shipments and deliveries.
- Strong communication skills in both individual and group settings.
- High level of comfort with paperwork, documentation, and process accuracy .
- Self‑starter mindset with the ability to work independently while representing a larger team.
- Commitment to maintaining brand standards and delivering high‑quality service.
Compensation
This is not an hourly position; figures are provided for illustration of earning potential.
This is a performance‑driven role with compensation directly tied to individual contribution.
- Estimated monthly earnings between $2,000 - 4,000/ week, plus per diem
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver household goods and equipment as required for move operations.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate a 26‑foot box truck for long distances and extended travel days.
- Ability to complete required training and demonstrate proficiency in all operational tasks.
Critical Performance Requirement
Documentation and paperwork accuracy is directly tied to compensation. Candidates who are sloppy, inconsistent, or incomplete with documentation should not apply. Precision and timeliness are non‑negotiable.
