Product Manager - Connectivity

NSI Industries is seeking an experienced Product Manager, Connectivity in our Huntersville, NC location to drive the strategic development and execution of one or more product categories. This role will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for market segmentation, roadmap planning, and new product development. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance and Operations to lead category performance, identify growth opportunities, and deliver market-relevant solutions,

Responsibilities:
  • Lead product planning and marketing using roadmaps and competitive analysis 
  • Identify market segments for revenue opportunities 
  • Gather customer insights for products 
  • Develop pricing strategies based on market acceptance 
  • Review inventory and forecast sales 
  • Analyze competitors to identify trends and gaps 
  • Drive new product development including marketing, costing, pricing, distribution, and go-to-market strategies 
  • Assist with packaging and documentation 
  • Achieve business results and improve performance standards 
  • Conduct technical training and create product content 
  • Participate in industry events 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or General Business
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive product management, sales, or engineering experience from a consumer and electrician-led electronic goods manufacturing organization 
  • Knowledge of basic financial statements and P&L ownership 
  • Application, competitive, and manufacturing knowledge of wire connectivity and grounding products/practices preferred 
  • Prior experience working with regulatory agencies such as UL preferred 
  • Experience with sourcing products and working with supply chain preferred 
  • Field sales experience with electrical distribution, manufacturer's rep agencies, contractors and specifying engineers preferred 
  • Proficient in operation Windows, CRM and BI programs as well as associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
