As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public school environment, you will conduct routine bike patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, school policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, parking areas, athletic facilities, entry points, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing visitors to appropriate locations and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to school administration, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
